Build it. Math made it possible.
PBL projects span weeks or months. Each ends with something students can hold, photograph, or hang on the wall — and a deeper understanding of the math that made it possible.
Graf(it) Art
Students build their own piece of art using only mathematical functions. Over a month, each design grows from 100–200 equations — and ends up on the gallery wall.
Equation of Me
Students compose an algebraic "self-equation" — a creative bridge between identity, language, and mathematical expression. A reflective project that brings English and math into the same conversation.
Guitars & Instruments
Students design and build their own handcrafted instruments using the Rule of 18 and the math of music theory. The most ambitious project in the PBL Math library — and the most rewarding.
House of Index Cards
A class-wide simulation of a housing market built from index cards. Students apply algebra, percentages, and economic reasoning to a fully-functioning market — complete with surprise events.
